AI content is saturating Instagram right now, but most of it isn't worth your time. We wanted to find the people who actually deliver, so we scraped, filtered, and ranked 125 verified creators posting about AI and tech in 2026: automation workflows, agent-building, AI art, productivity hacks, Claude Code tutorials, and more.
The result: 35 million followers across 23 countries, an average of 278,000 each, and roughly 2,500 posts and Reels analyzed using five Apify Actors.

What the data shows
Engagement beats reach. The biggest accounts don't always have the most engaged audiences. Several creators with under 50K followers, like Nima Eslamloo (18% engagement rate) and Ngoi Kok Kin (13.4%), consistently outperform accounts 10x their size on engagement. If you're looking for genuine community rather than broadcast reach, follower count alone doesn't tell the whole story.
AI agents and automation are the dominant topics. More creators in this list focus on automation workflows, AI agents, and no-code building than any other category. Productivity hacks and creative tools come second. News and updates accounts are fewer and have lower engagement.
Geography is more diverse than you'd expect. The US and India dominate by volume, but the list spans 23 countries. Strong pockets in the UK, Canada, and Australia, with individual creators from Croatia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Vietnam, Malaysia, Turkey, Georgia, and more.
Reels drive views, posts drive likes. For nearly every creator with both metrics, average reel views dwarf post impressions. Creators optimizing for reels consistently reach audiences well beyond their follower base. Harrison Stewart (@vibestealerr) recorded the highest reel-to-follower ratio in the dataset.
How we built this list
We used five public Apify scrapers to collect and analyze Instagram data across roughly 2,500 posts and reels published in 2026:
- Instagram Hashtag Analytics Scraper - discover top AI hashtags and trending creators
- Instagram Hashtag Scraper - extract posts under AI-related hashtags
- Instagram Profile Scraper - profile data, bios, about pages, related profiles
- Instagram Profile Scraper - second pass on related profiles for expansion
- Instagram Post Scraper - posts, carousels, likes, comments
- Instagram Reel Scraper - reels, views, shares, play counts
Selection: Keyword search and related-profile expansion, filtered to verified individual creators posting about AI and tech. News outlets, brands, AI product pages, and unverified accounts were excluded.
Metrics: Engagement rate is calculated as (likes + comments + shares) / followers. Reel data takes priority over post data where both exist. Pinned content is excluded from averages.
Coverage: 125 profiles · ~2,500 posts and reels analyzed · ~2,000 unique hashtags extracted · All data publicly available on Instagram.
