This is a quick announcement that we have raised a “bridge” investment round from one of our current investors — Reflex Capital, owned by Ondřej Fryc. The new investment puts the value of the company to $5.5 million. We’ll use the money to expand our engineering team in order to speed up the development of our products and to help us prepare the company for a Series A investment round that we plan to raise at the beginning of 2019.
Currently, Apify has nearly 200 recurring customers from all around the world, including several Fortune 500 companies, and the company’s turnover is growing at an average rate of 18% per month. Reflex Capital and Ondřej have been incredibly helpful over the past year and a half, and we’re honored and humbled by their ongoing support in our mission to make the web more programmable.
